What is the difference between an admin and a supervisor in the portal?

In the Blue Canoe Portal, both admins and supervisors play important roles in managing licenses, but they have different levels of responsibility:

  1. Admin:
    • The admin is the person who sets up and manages the organization’s account.
    • They have the authority to purchase licenses and assign them to users.
    • Admins can also invite supervisors to help manage license sets.
    • They can perform all the tasks of a supervisor, including monitoring user progress and managing user access.
  2. Supervisor:
    • Supervisors are invited by admins to help manage specific license sets.
    • They can monitor user statistics, track progress, and add or revoke access for users within their assigned license set.
    • However, supervisors cannot purchase licenses or invite other supervisors.

Admins have broader control over the portal, while supervisors focus on managing users and tracking progress within assigned license sets.
